The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) is an industry-driven initiative, non-profit foundation, benchmarking organization. SQF is one of GFSI’s food safety certification scheme designed to provide organizations with a rigorous system to manage food safety risks, produce safe products and provide organizations with a recognized food safety certification.

The purpose of this course is to outline the requirements as set out in the SQF Code. It was one of the first four Schemes approved by GFSI in 2004. There are three Certification Levels. It is the only scheme offering a quality level over and above Food Safety.

Course Objectives

To assist in the development, implementation and understanding of the clauses as set out in the SQF Code.
